The New Zealand Embassy has the honour to advise that the application round for the New Zealand Development Scholarships (NZDS) has started and ends at midday of 30 March 2017 (New Zealand time). Students from Egypt are invited to apply for the scholarships.
The scholarships are a central part of the New Zealand Government’s development assistance to Africa under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Africa Regional Programme. They support study that will assist in the sustainable economic development of a student’s home country.
The Scholarships are offered for postgraduate studies.
The priority sectors for Egyptians are agriculture development and renewable energy, as these are the sectors that can improve the social and economic development of Egypt and that New Zealand has expertise in.
